Levon Helm 1940-2012
Yesterday afternoon, legendary rock and roll musician Levon Helm passed away at the age of 71 due to throat cancer - an illness he's been battling for several years. Best remembered as a member of the Canadian rock quintet The Band [Levon himself was born in Arkansas], he was one of the early drummers to take on lead vocals. His powerful southern voice has left behind amazing songs that others just can't duplicate. A major influence on many drummers and musical artists today, may he live on in those who admired him.
I encourage you to check this out as well.
Rest in peace, Levon.

The Devil's Blog
Happy April everyone! I am a little late again with this blog header, but I don't care - so you shouldn't either. This header is based on the short film, The Devil's Toy by Canadian film director Claude Jutra. It explores the skateboarding craze that took over in the 1960s predominantly set in Montreal, QC.
