This past weekend, we took a trip downtown and a store called The Sport Gallery caught my attention. That's where I picked up this Montreal Maroons fitted cap by Ebbets Field Flannels.
The cap is made entirely of wool felt with satin underneath the brim. It was on display at the front window and even though I didn't know the team, I thought it was cool because it had a big M on it.
The Maroons were one of the city's teams in the NHL from 1924 to 1938 and were the original tenants for the Montreal Forum. They won the Stanley Cup twice [1926, 1935] and have eleven former players in the Hockey Hall of Fame.
