Snapback Saturday x Off The Hook
It has been ages since I last did a Snapback Saturday post, but it's totally worth it. What you are seeing is a rare item straight outta Quebec's Off The Hook clothing store. Made by Quintin Co., this was part of The Ko-Op series with other Canadian clothing stores. Much thanks to my brother for finding this for me. Apparently it was the last one.
The hat bears the logo of the Montreal Royals, the minor league team of the Brooklyn Dodgers between 1939-60. Paying homage to one of the most historic baseball teams of all time, OTH and Quintin Co. did their own spin on the colours using a dark navy as opposed to their traditional royal blue. Embroidered on the back is "1946," the year baseball's colour line was broken when Jackie Robinson played that one season with the club.
In Canada, we have these one minute history videos depicting a major moment that happened in our country and even to an extent of how it changed the world. Among them was Jackie Robinson's debut with the Montreal Royals.

Vintage Transworld & Thrasher Magazines
I tripped down to Switch yesterday afternoon and noticed a massive box of classic skate magazines. Rob was nice enough to let me take a bunch and I grabbed the ones with the best covers. I really wish skateboarding stood still in 2003. That Transworld on the upper left is from 1994 binded by staples. It's as classic as classic gets!
