Jackie Robinson Day

Today is Jackie Robinson Day and I love how baseball celebrates it year after year. It's knowing that baseball is everyone's sport and the fact he played his minor league career in Canada makes it more special. It's a holiday within the game and that's what makes MLB stand out from every other organization.

Happy Jackie Robinson Day, everybody.

Real Skateboards x Since Day One DVD

After going to the premiere of Real's latest video Since Day One, I had to buy the DVD. With tons of bonus features and a 200 page booklet, forget downloading and torrents and all that garbage. This is the real deal. Pun intended. Thanks again Mike for the generous discount.

Blow the whistle.

James Reimer Signing

The Pickering Markets had another Maple Leafs signing with James Reimer just at the end of the regular season. There were at least 600 people showing up for the netminder. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to have a picture with the player. But it was well worth the 90 minute wait. 'Til next year, be-Leaf-ers.

Adidas Protium II

Before I mess these up, might as well show off my new running shoes fresh out of the box.

Real Skateboards x Since Day One x Toronto Premiere

Earlier tonight was the Toronto premiere of Real Skateboards' latest video project; Since Day One. I didn't bring a proper camera to the premiere - but it wouldn't have made much difference since the staff was strict about the use of cameras in the theatre. But here are the two pics that mattered. Bookends, if you may, of one of the best videos of the year.

Since Day One - check it out.

The Jonas Bloggers

The Jonas Brothers are my favourite band of all time. They are the next big thing in music and I am buying front row seats to their next concert in Toronto. With that being said, please refer to the video below.

In all honesty, this is the only song I like from the trio. I heard it once on the radio, liked it, and after hearing the artist's name - I couldn't turn back. Plus, the solo is pretty sick. Happy April, fools!
