San Francisco Giants x Willie Mays [1961-1969]

Since I was reckless and ruined my old New York Giants uniform, I replaced it with this San Francisco Giants Willie Mays jersey.

My jersey guy was able to customize this really well. The letters and numbers are embroidered in two layered orange and black tackle twill. The font of the digits is based on pics of game worn jerseys I gathered online.

Furthermore, I'm a lot more stoked with this specific jersey because it's an official product - not a costume, and it goes perfectly well with this fitted.

Career Highlights and Achievements:

2× NL MVP [1954, 1965]

12× Gold Glove Award winner [1957-68]
2× MLB All-Star Game MVP [1963, 1968]
Roberto Clemente Award [1971]
Jersey #24 retired by San Franciso Giants in his honour

"I didn't say I was that smart, I said I went to class and I enjoyed what I was doing." - Willie Mays

Atlanta Braves Diamond Era

It's always rad finding a cap at an amazing price and this is no exception. Very basic, but stoked to add this into the collection.

Bob & Doug McKenzie x Spawn

How's it goin', eh? Recently, I ordered a pair of Bob & Doug McKenzie talking figures by Spawn. These characters were played by Rick Moranis and Dave Thomas and starred in the film Strange Brew [1983].

Each figure comes with its own base, backdrop, bottles, boxes, and more.

When opened and assembled, they form the classic Canadian Corner set from SCTV. These figures were from a while back and a little surprised I've kept them to this date.

I remember watching SCTV reruns when I was in the second or third grade and I never found the show funny except when these two came on because I thought it was Americans making fun of Canadians. Turns out the whole cast were from Canada and makes me appreciate the sketches even more.

Toronto Maple Leafs Signing Pickering Markets

This past Sunday, Pickering Markets held a Toronto Maple Leafs signing with Peter Holland [left] and Leo Komorov [right].

It was a great turnout, considering how bad the weather was, and I'm stoked to have more signatures on my pennant.

Jay & Silent Bob x Big Blast

These are a really sweet eBay pickup from just a few days ago. Posted are a pair of Jay & Silent Bob action figures made by Big Blast from 1998. The price was a steal considering most other listings are very high. Also, for a product made in over 15 years ago, the condition is excellent. However, the plastic has turned yellow, but the figures shouldn't be affected. I do have an opened set from a long time ago, but it's always nice to have them in their original packaging.

For those of of you unfamiliar with Jay & Silent Bob, you must've lived under a rock. Or never cared for the View Askewniverse. They're characters created by filmmaker Kevin Smith and were first featured in his debut Clerks in 1994 and have made multiple appearances in his films [Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Clerks 2].

Jay [played by Jason Mewes] and Silent Bob [played by Kevin Smith] were the primary characters in the 2001 film Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back.
