DC Shoes x Syntax & Tiago S

DC Shoes have been reissuing a few classic models under the Heritage banner. One of them was the Syntax shoe. This has the late-90s to early-2000s tech aesthetic, the type of stuff I grew up on when I started skateboarding.

Along with a suede upper, rubber lace loops and toe cap, it also features a rubber heel pull tab.

The classic pill pattern also returns on the cupsole for those added traction and stability.

This past Black Friday, I took advantage of the company's promotion on their website. With the deep discount and free shipping, I had to bank on two pairs of DC's best pro model to date; the Tiago S [not sure what the "S" means, but who cares]. One pair in navy/white and another in black/red/white.

Along with a Super Suede upper, it has a breathable mesh tongue and an air bag in the heel. Additionally, there are hidden nylon lace loops! I haven't seen that feature in possibly 10 years.

Just take a look at that tread and the detail put into it!
